At some point in our lives, we’ve all seen that “gym hero” who continues to throw more weight on the bar, looking to impress the entire community with his/her enormous strength! However at Skeetown CrossFit, with all of the technical and complex movements that you may be asked to perform, it is vital that we do not open that door to injury as much as possible. So, rather than continuing to throw more weight on the bar when working out on your own or in class (boosting your ego), focus on sticking that technique first and making it consistent in your practice. Leave that ego at the door and we promise you that your progress will be much faster! Always remember MOBILITY, TECHNIQUE, CONSISTENCY, then and only then INTENSITY!
