It’s possible there is no one more motivated at SkeeTown than Chad. Since he joined several months ago, this guy never misses a workout! Literally, never! He often comes in early and stays late! Chad is someone you can count on to help you out at the gym. He’s always happy to answer your questions! He has a ton of patience. Chad has his Personal Trainer certification and has worked in the fitness industry, and actually is in the process of studying for his L1 CrossFit Certification. He’s great fun to work out with, but this guy is driven and is serious when it comes to working out and being healthy. Here’s what he had to say about his time at SkeeTown CrossFit.
What do you remember about your first workout at SkeeTown? I remember working out harder than I have in a long time and getting immediately hooked!
What’s your favorite thing to do in a workout? I love barbell work! Squats, Cleans and Deadlifts are my favorites. I get fired up about pull-ups too.
What advice to you have for new members? The best advice I can give to new members is to just be patient and continuously set small goals. Everybody measures their progress in different ways, whether it’s a certain amount of weight lost, achieving a new movement such as a handstand pushup or muscle up, or hitting a PR on a lift. No mater if you are new to CrossFit or an elite athlete, these goals are not accomplished overnight. You have to show up, put in the work, and be patient!
This is trouble right here. Trust me. Nothing but trouble!
What keeps you coming back to SkeeTown CrossFit? The constant push is what keeps me coming back. Not just from the coaches but from all of the other members as well. The community feel is amazing and you can tell that everybody wants to see you achieve your goals as much as they want to achieve their own.
Chad, we are so glad you are a part of our SkeeTown CrossFit family! You are so kind and encouraging to everyone! Thanks for being an important part of our community! And be sure to click the link below to watch Chad’s “Pre-lift wiggle.” Is this what make the magic happen with the ladies, Chad?
