Since discovering CrossFit almost two years ago my views on working out and eating healthy have been completely transformed. I’m extremely competitive so I initially fell in love with the competitive nature of CrossFit, but I quickly realized there is so much more this sport.

The sense of community is why I return. I love how anyone can participate and everyone encourages you to do it! When I became pregnant with my second child, I knew immediately that I wanted to continue doing CrossFit.

CrossFit isn’t just a workout, it’s a lifestyle!

The main challenges that I faced while being pregnant and doing CrossFit were finding the energy to go to class and eating right. I was also worried that I was going to be a burden on the class because of the amount of modifications I needed to make it through the workout, but the coaches were so accommodating and I never felt out of place!

By modifying a few exercises and scaling down the weight, I was able to continue CrossFit until I was 35 weeks pregnant! CrossFit truly is a life sport, and I am so grateful to everyone at Friction for their continuous love and support!
