You know your team needs to stay fit in the off-season.

A team or Individual that trains all year around has a huge advantage. Athletes who train at Friction CrossFit over the years are ALWAYS ahead of their teammates…and the opposition.

Friction coaches have been training youth athletes and teams since 2007. Our methods are constantly evolving to provide the most effective, safe and fun experience for All athletes. In fact, our coaches are hired as mentors by other gyms around the world.

In 2017, we’re consolidating our most popular training packages to help local teams and Athletes

A – Healthy Eating Seminar-Free.

An athlete who is properly fed—not “carb-loaded” or hyper-caffeinated—will perform 30% better. That’s a full period of hockey or quarter of football with more energy and endurance. Sports science means correct eating habits all the time, even on the road. We’re happy to provide free guidance to teams willing to consider a switch to performance eating strategies.

B – Body Mechanics and Mobility Testing – $30 per athlete.

The purpose of proper body mechanics and mobility in sports is to improve performance and reduce the risk of injury. Appropriate strength and mobility training can improve the following:

-Joint mobility and stability
-Stronger bones, tendons, and ligaments,
-Responsive decelerating muscles to slow down body (e.g. rotator cuff in pitching)
-Core strength to maximize balance, control and proprioception (knowing where body is in space)

Increase Performance with Increased Mobility​ -Mobility should be taken seriously for anyone looking to lift more weight, run faster, PR on conditioning workouts or improve at virtually anything fitness related.

C – Private Group Training at Friction CrossFit – $1080 (up to 12 people for 8 weeks!)

Our coaches are athletes who have been thoroughly schooled in appropriate exercises for each developmental stage. Best of all, CrossFit workouts are fun, challenging, and VERY effective for building all ten elements of fitness:

  speed-agility-power-strength-flexibility-coordination-endurance-stamina-balance- accuracy

Private group training includes fitness ‘homework’ assignments for athletes to perform at home, and tracking logs for all players to complete (and coaches to check.)
